This is based on a) having scanned the original slide emulsion-side up, which is the correct way on a flatbed scanner and b) noting that the buildings in the background on Great Gott Island look reversed in the book photo. Northwood Kenway loaned the original Agfachrome 35mm slide to the Library for scanning. His daughter Nancy took the picture.
