The fish was a circa 500 lb. tuna (formerly called "Horse Mackerel" in these waters) - possibly the one described as being harpooned in “Leaves Folded Down” See: “Leaves Folded Down” by Louise E. Osmond built his house at 475 Seawall Road, Map 19 - Lot 48, MHPC #405-1016, across the road and several lots toward Southwest Harbor from the Benson's land, in 1917.
