Elizabeth Safford Peterson died when her house on Gotts Island was destroyed by fire on January 29, 1925. “An inquest held at Gotts Island Me. with the county of Hancock the 30th day of January 1925 before Daniel G. Benson one of the select-man of the town of Tremont, upon the premises of Elizabeth S.
