"McMann camp at Alamakoukus" a "sporting camp" within the Moro Plantation, Aroostook County, Maine, in 1898. Moro Plantation is directly west from Houlton, Maine, where Nell Thornton was living. J.B. McMann was the superintendent of the Bangor & Aroostook Railway at Houlton, Maine from at least 1904 to 1908.
