Parker of the Bluehill [sic] Library, gave a demonstration of mending and rebinding books. Lunch was served at the Carpenter Restaurant and the meeting resumed at 2 o'clock. When the new schoolhouse was built, the old building was sold to George Harmon and it was used for stores and apartments. Many years later the owners of the Harmon Block found, in one of the rooms, an old blackboard from when their building had been a school. When the new schoolhouse was built, the old building was sold to George Harmon and it was used for stores and apartments. Many years later the owners of the Harmon Block found, in one of the rooms, an old blackboard from when their building had been a school.
