Rebecca’s daughter Nellie “Nell” Rebecca (Carroll) Thornton built at 23 High Road in 1922. Another daughter, Alice (Carroll) Young built at 38 High Road in 1907. The rocks were probably covered or removed when the land was cleared for the cottage and drive.
