She may have been either Feodora Woodworth or Doris Motz both of whom taught in the "common school" in 1925-1926 and 1926-1927. Doris Motz's husband, Ralph Motz, also taught at the Freeman Grammar School.

The building was Dr. Lemont's office and store on the south side of Clark Point Road leaving Main Street. The building, then Cuz's Café, burned on January 30, 1955. It is the site of the Red Sky Restaurant in 2008. The Southwest Harbor band was formed in 1892.
