Just visible to the lower right of the Whitmore farm is the E. Stanley (Everett George Stanley) house shown on the map. That house was 4 Bass Harbor Road on Tax Map 2 - Lot 24 - MHPC #405-012. The house with the mansard roof on the left, partially obscured by the horizontal support for the clothes line was the Henry R. Hinckley house - now [2017] the site of Western Way Condominiums, built in 1986 at 10-5 to 10-22 Robinson Lane, Southwest Harbor - Tax Map 16 - Lot 3. Notice the corset out to dry on the clothes line.

Mayo Construction, later the Herrick Building at 45 Clark Point Road, Southwest Harbor, Maine - Map 6 - Lot 114. The building with the display window, at the right, 47 Clark Point Road, Map 6 - Lot 113 started out life as the S.H. Mayo Bicycle Shop and was later William Lloyd Carroll's Cash Market at Map 3 - Lot 45. On the left side of the street, the first partially visible building at the left was the Benjamin Conley Worcester Store, built in 1910, at 46 Clark Point Road, Map 3 – Lot 109, MHPC #405-0166 - on the site of E.H. Higgins Blacksmith Shop. The next partially visible building, toward Main Street, was the E.A.
