Ruth’s grandfather was Osborne Milton Kittredge (1844-1928). Ruth and her family lived with him in his house near the Marsh Bridge in Bass Harbor at 122 Tremont Road (Route 102), Tremont, Maine, Tax Map 15 – Lot 2, across the road from the Eben Clark house.
