The building in the center of the painting is part of the discarded South Norwood Cove school, presumably now J.T.R. Freeman's home. (It should be noted that what is now the village of Southwest Harbor used to be called South Norwood's Cove.) The little white building to the right would be the post office, probably with people playing croquet in front of it.	J.T.R.
