Good to Know
- An Image item depicts an Article item. The image may have information associated with it such as where and when it was made and by whom, but the information about the subject of the image is in its related Article item.
- The Item Type hierarchy has sub-types to indicate specific information about a photograph such as stereograph, tintype, glass plate, or digital. When that information is not known, the type is simply Image, Photograph.
